At the All Starr Care Agency, our Homemaker Personal Care (HPC) services help those with developmental disabilities and other care needs be more independent while meeting their daily living requirements. As our most valued resource, our direct caregivers and support staff serve on the front lines every day while assisting clients in their private residences. Available Positions
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
- Teaching everyday life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and self-care
- Going on community outings
- Understanding and utilizing individualized plans
- Completing all documentation in a professional, accurate and timely manner
- High attention to detail- Must be able to multitask
- Organize activities geared to our individuals
- Assist with personal care as needed
- Assist with mealtime
Minimum Qualifications
- Eight-teen (18) years of age
- A valid Ohio Driver’s License and less than 6 points
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Criminal background that is compliant with OAC 5123:2-2-02 Employment of persons providing service to individuals with DD
- Ability to pass a drug test and physical screening
- Cooperative and patient with a caring nature
- Must have ability to communicate and interact with consumers, families and staff while maintaining the highest level of respect and customer service
- Experience with writing reports/progress notes
- Available to work weekends
